With EndNote Basic, it is possible to share libraries with other EndNote Basic users - making collaboration easy. Fortunately for the UTA community, UTA Libraries subscribes to a premium version of EndNote Basic that removes many of the limitations in the free version. Anyone can sign up for a free Basic account, but some features and functionality is limited.
You can manually enter citation data, or import it from other electronic resources such as the scholarly databases available through UTA Libraries. Using EndNote, you can create bibliographies within Microsoft Word or other word-processors. EndNote is able to format bibliographies in almost every conceivable bibliographic citation style, such as APA, Chicago Manual of Style, MLA, Turabian, Science and other journal-specific bibliographic citation styles.ĮndNote Basic (formerly EndNote Web) is an online version of EndNote. You can move videos, tables and figures up or down in the text by clicking the arrow buttons embedded in each media item. For detailed instructions on adding each media type, please see below. EndNote (Basic, X8, X9) is a citation management platform that allows you to collect and organize your references and to create bibliographies. You will then be prompted to upload the figure or paste the table or video URL and add a title and optional legend. You are logging in to a University of Florida (UF) information system and agree to comply with the UF Acceptable Use Policy and Guidelines.
